Privacy policy

Eduardo “Yusnaby” Rodríguez, a journalist in Miami, is responsible for the data received through yusnaby.com, studio.yusnaby.com and his WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook accounts. For any privacy question: [email protected].

• The messages you send us through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger or the tip form: text, photos, videos, audio and files.
• The contact details you give us or that the platform provides when you write: name, username, WhatsApp number and, on the form, email and phone.
• From Meta we only receive the public name and username of the person writing. We do not access your contacts, your private posts or other conversations.

• To read and answer your messages, and to assess whether what you tell us may be news.
• To contact you to verify the information you send.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Writing to us does not mean your story will be published: a person reviews every possible story first.

To answer you faster, some replies are written and sent by an automated system on behalf of the team, signed “el equipo de Yusnaby” (the Yusnaby team). It never promises coverage or publication and never shares other people’s data.

• Messages and files are stored on our own server in Miami, with an encrypted disk and restricted access.
• To classify messages and draft replies we use Anthropic’s AI service (Claude). Before the text is sent, phone numbers, emails and usernames are replaced.
• The platforms you write through (Meta: WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook), Cloudflare (website hosting and form protection) and Google (email) process data under their own privacy policies.

Your name and contact details are not published or shared outside the team without your permission. If you want your identity kept confidential, tell us in your message.

As long as needed for the journalistic work related to what you told us. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data” and tell us the platform (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or the form) and the number or username you wrote from. We will delete your messages, files and contact details within 30 days and confirm it to you.

This service is not directed to children under 13.

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date.
